1. Bids9 is a marketplace

Vehicles are sold by Insurers. Bids9 provides the auction platform and does not own, inspect for sale, store, repair, warrant or deliver vehicles.

2. Vehicle condition — as is, where is

Vehicles on Bids9 are typically damaged, total-loss, flood- or fire-affected, theft-recovered or otherwise salvage. They are sold as is, where is, with all faults, whether or not shown in the listing.

• The survey report and damage map record what an independent surveyor observed on the survey date. Hidden, internal, electrical or mechanical defects may not be visible and condition may change after the survey.
• Photos are taken at the yard and stamped with time and location; lighting and angles may not show every defect.
• Odometer readings are recorded as displayed and are not verified, unless marked otherwise.
• "Starts", "runs and drives" and similar statements describe the surveyor’s observation only, not roadworthiness or safety.
• Missing parts, keys and batteries are listed where observed; others may be missing.

You are responsible for inspecting the vehicle or satisfying yourself before bidding (inspection arrangements)[To confirm]. A bid is placed on the vehicle as it stands.

3. Title, documents and transfer

Registration, RC status, hypothecation and ownership details are declared by the Insurer and checked by the surveyor where possible; Bids9 does not guarantee them. The buyer is responsible for completing the transfer of ownership, paying applicable fees and taxes, and any re-registration or fitness requirements. Some vehicles may not be eligible for re-registration.

4. Scrap-only (RVSF) lots

Vehicles marked "Scrap only" must not be used on public roads and may only be dismantled through a Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility, under the Motor Vehicles (Registration and Functions of Vehicle Scrapping Facility) Rules, 2021. Buying one for road use is not permitted.

5. Guide prices and information

Any guide price is an indication from the Insurer, not a valuation or a promise of what the vehicle will sell for. Information on the Platform is not legal, financial or technical advice.

6. Service availability

Live auctions depend on internet connections and third-party services. Bids are accepted only when received and recorded by our servers; we are not responsible for bids lost because of your device, network or delay.

7. Third-party links

Links to maps, WhatsApp, payment gateways or other sites are provided for convenience; those services are governed by their own terms.
